Proficiency Test Info

Must already know how to handle a handgun safely
Optional “Learn How to Shoot” training available
Instructor completes Parts B & C of your LTC-104 certificate
50 rounds fired during qualification
Score of 70% (175/250) required to pass
No holster or concealed-draw required

LTC-104 Certificate (Part A completed)
Handgun (no lasers) & 50 rounds brass ammunition
Driver’s License or State ID
Ear & eye protection (provided if needed)
Loaner guns with ammo available

Gun Range Location

All class fees are NON REFUNDABLE and do not include the state application fee. Class completion does not guarantee a License to Carry will be approved. The Texas Department of Public Safety makes the final decision based on their guidelines.
