Beginner LTC Class

Important Details
- Beginner Training occurs before LTC Class.
- Classroom Training is 4-6 hours long
- NO WEAPONS ALLOWED IN CLASS
- Student must already know how to use a handgun.
- Student will receive completed LTC 104 certificate at end of session.
- A total of 50 rounds are fired during the course of the qualification test.
- A score of 70%, or 175 out of 250, is required to pass.
- No holster shooting or shooting from concealed is required.
What to Bring to Range
- Range Fee
- 1 Handgun- no laser optics
- 50 Rounds of Ammunition (brass)
- Driver’s License/State ID
- Ear/Eye Protection (provided if needed)
- Ammunition Purchase Available

RANGE FEE IS STUDENT’S RESPONSIBILITY UPON ARRIVAL TO GUN RANGE.
Shooting Proficiency Test
- Range Fee Paid Upon Arrival To Gun Range (8 mins from class)
- Must Already Know How To Use Handgun
- The Firearm Being Used Can Not Have Laser Optic
- Will Shoot A Total Of 50 Rounds At 3 Distances (3yds, 7yds, 15yds)
Class Location
All class fees are NON REFUNDABLE and do not include the state application fee. Class completion does not guarantee a License to Carry will be approved. The Texas Department of Public Safety makes the final decision based on their guidelines.
